My name is Renee and I am the founder of Stome & Stome Designs. I’m an Architect and Artist with a passion for all things home. Stome originates from my obsession with stone and the qualities and presence it can bring to a space when done right. Bringing design, warmth and character to a space for everyone is our mission and its what makes a house a home. This venture was in pursuit of creating timeless pieces that could be curated to reflect your personality.

Good bones are important in a space but the finishing touches make all the difference. Our crafted products are handmade in Melbourne, Australia. My fascination with stone started at a young age. I remember collecting crystals from the creek at the end of our street. When I was 15, I travelled to a village in Syria where I received the crystallised limestone in the image below. This small souvenir has had a large impact on my conceptions of what a home is and what it can be. I have held on to it and now display it in my home.
